MUSIC:

Bristol-based Simaly Sound are an all-female Dub/ Reggae collective of singers, DJs and instrumentalists, who are hitting the ground running with close-knit harmonies and killer tunes. Formed in 2022 to combine the immense skill and drive of each member, Simaly Sound features members from Italy, Spain and Poland, and together they are rocking the dance with original productions, quality lyrics, live melodica, and the highest-grade vocals.

This new and unique project on the Bristol scene brings top vibes to the area; with a selection to make your body move and the ground shake, their set is filled with next-level selections matching their soulful voices. Every member brings their personal style and experience to meld together, giving rise to the name Simaly Sound, based on each member's name and paying tribute to the contribution they bring to this powerhouse of a group.

OMEGA NEBULA are a husband and wife, electronic duo, taking influence from Jamaican and UK sound system culture. Their music is a blend of hard hitting dub, high spirited reggae and powerful bass, all brought together by their own joyfully uplifting and recognisable sound. Multi-instrumentalists Adjua and Dean Forrest, who together fronted eight piece reggae outfit Backbeat Soundsystem on Easy Star Records, have joined forces to pursue their passion for electronic production. 

Their show is a live/electronic hybrid performance, where you can expect a dynamic fusion of synthesizers, dub sirens, huge bass, live instruments, killer vocals and trippy effects. Revered for having a captivating stage presence and for connecting with the audience on a deep level, OMEGA NEBULA will leave you inspired, empowered and energized. With continuous support from BBC DJ’s including reggae legend David Rodigan on BBC 1Xtra, this exciting new project is speedily on the rise and their live show is not to be missed!
