THE KITES

THE KITES are a four-piece local indie band, well known for their performances across Plymouth at a range of venues. With a rhythm section of cousins Ethan Bennett (drums) and Ben Cooke (bass) laying down a rock-solid, funkified groove, George Wilson supplying glamorous late 70's rock'n'roll riffage, and finally Joe Cocker's soul-quaking melodic voice, the Kites are an act to keep your eyes on. Taking influences from the likes of Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Led Zeppelin and The Black Keys; their latest single “Breakwater City” is pure rock and roll.
